Coaches
Check back here over the first two weeks of February for coaching updates. Some familiar faces and some new coaches will be part of this year’s guest expert lineup.
Past guest experts have included Olympians, Americas Cup Champions, World Champs and many more talented coaches and sailors.
Pre North Americans Regatta
A 2-day regatta in the 2026 Opti North Americans venue. Come early and participate in a great training regatta to prepare for the North Americans. Or if you're a local sailor this is your opportunity to compete against world class competition at an amazing venue.
This event will include regatta-wide morning briefs and end-of-day debriefs. These will be led by local Opti legends who have spent their lives sailing and racing on the Halifax Harbour along with local experts on weather conditions. Briefs and debriefs will include a detailed daily forecast briefing.
The event will include a pre-sailing snack each day and will include dinner after sailing each day.
There will be a prize giving ceremony following racing on the 17.
